How to create a new product in OIS Central

This module will teach you how to create a new product directly in OIS Central.

Before creating a new product, ensure you have the proper credentials and role permissions for this action.

Without the correct role, you may encounter an error that prevents you from adding new products.

Steps

1. Click on the 2 pages icon
2. Click on the products tab
3. Click the plus sign (+) next to the Product label on the top panel.
4. After clicking the (+) sign, the menu for new products creation will appear.
5. Make sure you enter the mandatory fields (Item Code, Name, Category, Unit Type, Units, Unit Weight, Item Type), and then click on save. **Note: If you don't have a specific category for the product, you can select the default category 'Other'.

Important: For the fields 'Units' and 'Unit Weight', if you don't have this information, enter the number '1' as these fields cannot be left blank.
