Before connecting the scanner to the iPad
1. To Charge-Connect the KDC200 to a powered USB port for about 4 hours.
2. Set scanner to HID Mode- Scan the following barcode to put your scanner in SPP mode.
The below image shows the parts of the KDC200 scanner.
Step 1
Press up and down navigation buttons at the same time to open the scanner’s menu.
Step 2
Select the BT Config option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 3
Select the “ConnectDevice” option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 4
Select the “Iphone” option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 5
Select the “Save & Exit” option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 6
Select the “Top Menu” option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 7
Select the BT Service option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 8
Select the “Discovering” option and press the trigger button.
Step 9
While the scanner is searching for Bluetooth devices, turn on Bluetooth from the iPad settings.
Step 10
Select the device that you would like to connect to that is listed on the scanner’s menu.
Step 11
Select the “Use Default” option, press the trigger button and the ipad will show the following message “Bluetooth Pairing Request”. Select “Pair”.
Step 12
Next, please wait until the status of the scanner shows as “Connected” in the iPad.
Step 13
Select the “Top Menu” option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 14
Select the “Exit Menu” option from the menu and press the trigger button.
Step 15
Open the OIS app from the iPad.
Step 16
Tap on the Settings
Step 17
Tap on the Barcode Scanner.
Step 18
Tap on Bluetooth/HID.
Step 19
Click on Yes.
