Step-by-Step Guide: Generate and Export a Product Report in OIS Central
Purpose
Generate and export a report of the products available in OIS Central, including the desired columns, in Excel or PDF format.
Prerequisites
Enable pop-ups in your browser (Chrome, Edge, or another browser), since the process opens pop-up windows to configure and save the report.
Steps to Generate the Report
1. Log in to OIS Central
Sign in to OIS Central.
Navigate to the Products module or tab.
2. Start the Export
In the top-right corner, click the yellow icon with black letters labeled “Print.”
3. Select the File Format
A pop-up window will open.
Choose the output format:
Excel, or
PDF
4. Configure Filters (Show All Products)
Verify that the filters are set to include all products.
If any active filters limit the results, adjust them before generating the report.
5. Select Columns
Locate and use the “Select Columns” option (or similar) to define which fields will be included in the report.
In the example, the following columns were enabled:
List Price
Units in Stock
UPC Code
6. Generate the File
Click the “Generate” button located at the bottom of the window.
7. Save the File
Another pop-up window will appear to save the document.
Select the folder or location where you want to store the file.
Enter a file name.
Click “Save.”
8. Verify the Export
Open the saved file (Excel or PDF) and confirm that:
The expected products are included.
The selected columns are present.
The information is correct.
